Ready... Set.... MANGA!!

This is the cover for my publishing company, Wasabi Press's first book! It was a manga contest, and now we have 8 great comics that will be published in a book in april!

I've designed and put together the whole book myself. The comics are by 8 different winners, and the book is funded by advertisements, but I'm the one who have called and/or emailed all sponsors single-handedly, and sent out invoices and just kept communication with them. I've then also put together the whole book, designed and drawn the cover, designed the logos, etc. On top of that, I've made the homepage (from a template but all contents are mine), and I received all 77 submissions and went through them and sent the best ones to the jury (that i was also a part of). I am going to tour conventions this spring (alone, yet again) and i've also fixed signing sessions with the winners, and I've been in the newspapers 4 times since november. And I don't get paid to do this - all money goes to the book, the winners and for promotion.

I'm also attending school, and have made two comics during this period.

And what do I say? It's gonna be very nice to not have to eat instant food anymore XD And being able to sleep properly....

I've gotten a lot of support from friends who've come to me with tips, warning and suggestions. This couldn't have been done without them.

So please, if you can, do look at the book, even if it's just the e-book. It will be out on the 28th april at www.wasabipress.se . I'll post a journal when it's out so just keep watching me and you'll know <3
